14°C est la température moyenne annuelle estimée des sous-sols parisiens en 2050. Face aux chaleurs grandissantes, ce projet investigue l’accès à la fraîcheur dans le contexte urbain parisien. Cette recherche répertorie huit typologies de lieux inaccessibles au public: des salles des catacombes aux tunnels de la Petite Ceinture en passant par la cathédrale de La Défense. Cette installation-vidéo nous plonge dans ces espaces allant jusqu’à - 25 mètres de profondeur. Dans un spectre du bleu foncé au jaune clair, les couleurs de la caméra thermique révèlent les températures de chaque lieu, influencées par les matériaux, les volumes, l’architecture. Ce projet interroge donc l’avenir de ces espaces, et comment leur propriétés thermiques peuvent contribuer au bien-être urbain.

In the face of increasing heat, this project investigates access to fresh air in the urban context of Paris. The research identifies eight types of place that are inaccessible to the public, from the catacombs to the tunnels of the Petite Ceinture and the cathedral at La Défense. This video installation plunges us into these spaces at depths of up to 25 metres. In a spectrum ranging from dark blue to light yellow, the colours of the thermal camera reveal the temperatures of each place, influenced by the materials, volumes and architecture.
