<45 dB

<45 dB refers to the sound level below which the level becomes quiet space. <45 dB is an immersive space in which the public is invited to interact with their sound environment through the experience of silence. Through the use of hemp wool, linen and cotton <45dB is an attempt to catch a silent environment. Between the contrast of the lightness of wood and the heavy isolating materials, the modular structure and the rareness of silence, the installation invites to reappropriate the absence of sounds within a place.
